Campbell County Animal Control is pleased to cooperate with the Friends of Campbell County Animal Control (FOAC) which exists because of volunteers, fosters, donors, and friends who wish to help animal control officers make a difference.
FOAC has a goal to help find more animals forever homes and reduce and end the unnecessary euthanasia of the animals in Campbell County.
Volunteers are crucial to the success of our mission.
Volunteer Opportunities
FOAC needs help walking dogs, playing with, and socializing all of the animals at the Campbell County Animal Care and Control Facility.
We also need help with transport to rescues and vet appointments and to help with events and fundraisers connected with FOAC.
We are always looking for photographers, writers, videographers, trainers, vets, event planners, fundraising gurus, and anything else that will improve the FOAC success rate and the lives of our animals.
If you would like to help volunteer or have a skill that you think would benefit us, please email us at: FOACvolunteer@gmail.com.
Before you start volunteering, you will need to complete the Volunteer Hold Harmless Agreement.
New Volunteer Opportunity
The Friends of Campbell County Animal Control now has two spaces for cats in the adoption area of the Lynchburg PetSmart. With the new “venue” for cats, the FOAC volunteers have new tasks that need to be done.
Would you like to help?
All the cages housing the cats at the store need to be cleaned daily, morning and night. FOAC is assigned two times a week to clean. Volunteers are needed to help with this. If you would like to help with these tasks, please contact Kelly at kbw89bobcat@aol.com.
