Campbell County General Registrar Kelly L. Martin has the following information about the November 2017 elections for Campbell County residents:

In the General and Special Elections to be held on Nov. 7, 2017, the following will be on the ballot for Campbell County residents: General and Special Elections for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, House of Delegates for the 22nd, 59th, and 60th Districts; Clerk of Court, Members of the Campbell County Board of Supervisors and School Board for Timberlake, Rustburg, and Brookneal Districts.

The Constitution of Virginia requires that you be registered in the precinct in which you live in order to be qualified to vote. The General and Special Elections will be held on Nov. 7, 2017, and in order to be eligible to vote on this date, you must register no later than Monday, Oct. 16, 2017.

You may register at any DMV or miscellaneous agencies in the Commonwealth, or at our office, which is open Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. and online at https://vote.elections.virginia.gov/Registration/Eligibility.

For the convenience of registered voters who need to vote by absentee ballot, our office will be open from 9 a.m. -5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28 and on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, which is the final day to vote absentee.

Deadline to request an absentee ballot to be mailed to you is 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017. Your request must be received by your Registrar by 5 p.m. Deadline to request an absentee ballot by appearing in-person is 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017.

You are encouraged to make application for voter registration. Please call us to request a registration application, an application for absentee voting, or to verify that you are registered. Remember, a good citizen registers and VOTES.
