[ARCHIVED] Joint Board Informational Session on RMS Construction Available via ZOOM

JOINT SESSION

The Campbell County School Board and the Campbell County Board of Supervisors will jointly convene on Tuesday, September 15 at 6:30 p.m. at Rustburg High School to hear an informational presentation from Blair Construction regarding initial construction plans for Rustburg Middle School. This gathering’s agenda is slated as informational only.

For students’ safety and to ensure this session complies with the school system’s required COVID-19 protocols, this presentation will be formatted for public viewing via the ZOOM platform.

As always, public input and questions are welcomed on any presentations and projects of this nature. For Campbell County residents’ safety and convenience, an electronic public feedback form can be accessed at http://www.campbellcountyva.gov/FormCenter/Public-and-Employee-Relations-12/Rustburg-Middle-School-Construction-Plan-71 to convey comments on any of the materials presented that evening. All feedback will be shared with both Boards for their consideration.

A copy of Blair Construction’s presentation will also be posted on the County’s website following the session. Residents may also visit the County’s Special Project page in the weeks ahead for additional information and updates regarding the Rustburg Middle School Project.

Please note that seating at this joint Board session is limited due to COVID-19 safety policies. Media representatives or other non-school personnel are welcome, however, those wishing to attend on-site will be required to:

  • Wear a mask at all times in the facility;
  • Sit in specified areas to ensure social distancing; and
  • Adhere to directional access/exit signage.
