Campbell County Local Officials Establish Safe Ways to Pay Property Taxes During COVID

RUSTBURG, VA - Beginning October 1, Campbell County Real Estate and Personal Property Taxes may be paid online without additional fees or charges in order to limit in person visits to the Treasurer's Office.

With Covid-19 being a concern for many Campbell County citizens, local officials have implemented safe ways for residents to make payment by the December 7, 2020 deadline.

Citizens who wish to pay in person with a clerk may do so; however, it is requested that all who enter the Citizen Services Building (85 Carden Lane, Rustburg, VA 24588) wear a mask, and maintain social distancing.  Likewise, admittance into the lobby will be limited to 10-12 people at a time, in order to protect guests and employees.

The following ways are available to the public 24 hours a day and 7 days a week:

  • Pay online via the County's website at: http://www.campbellcountyva.gov/139/Online-Payments the transaction fees associated for using credit cards online have been waived from October 1 until December 30, 2020.  Delinquent taxes may also be paid via credit card online without incurring a processing charge.
  • Pay by check or money order and mail to: PO Box 37, Rustburg, VA 24588
  • Pay in person by dropping your sealed payment into the dropbox located at the left-hand corner of the Citizen Services Building (85 Carden Lane, Rustburg, VA 24588).
