Reassessment Hearing Slots for December 15-16 Now Filled

Anyone who would like to appeal his/her assessment must now file an appeal with the Board of Equalization (BOE).  You may call 434-332-9568 with questions on how to submit an appeal to the BOE. 

 Appeals to the Board of Equalization must be in writing on forms obtainable at the County Real Estate office or by emailing Realestate@campbellcountyva.gov and must be filed on or before the end of business on January 17, 2023.

Pursuant to §§ 58.1-3331 & 58.1-3332 of the Code of Virginia, you have the right to view and make copies of records maintained by the county assessment office in accordance with the procedures set forth in §§ 58.1-3331 and 58.1-3332.

As required by Section 58.1-3201 of the Code of Virginia, your property has been assessed at 100% of its fair market value.  Property values change from year to year because of new construction, additions, rezoning, land subdivisions, or other changes.
