[ARCHIVED] Region 2000 Local Government Council Coordinates Motorist Congestion Survey

graphic for online feedback

The Region 2000 Local Government Council (LGC) has launched an online transportation survey to assess current congestion conditions and identify needs from the perspectives of local motorists.

The survey is available at http://www.surveymonkey.com/r/congestion_survey.

The survey allows residents to provide detailed information on specific transportation needs within the areas of Region 2000 that they live, work, go to school, and travel most often.

The results of the surveys will assist the LGC, the Central Virginia Metropolitan Planning Organization (CVMPO), and localities in prioritizing needs and developing strategies to ensure a safe, efficient, and balanced transportation system.

Everyone who participates in the survey may choose to be entered into a drawing to win one of four $25 VISA gift cards. The survey window is currently open and will close Feb. 20.
