CAMPBELL COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE TO HOST WREATH LAYING CEREMONY

RUSTBURG, VA - Campbell County Sheriff’s Office would like to extend an invitation to the public to attend the 2021 Wreath Laying Ceremony, to be held on Thursday, May 13 at 11:00 a.m.. 

The Wreath Laying Ceremony, held annually in remembrance of Deputy Jason Saunders, and all fallen law enforcement officers in conjunction with National Law Enforcement Memorial Week, will take place at the Memorial Garden, located in front of the Sheriff’s Office at 87 Courthouse Lane, Rustburg.  

Campbell County Sheriff's Office Deputy Jason Saunders was killed in the line of duty on April 3, 2007; Dale and Peggy Saunders, Jason's parents, will be in attendance. 

Citizens, Sheriff’s Office and County employees and their families are invited to attend this special ceremony.  Thomas Jones, Retired Sheriff of Charlotte County will be the guest speaker.

• Moment of Silence and Prayer
• Introduction of Guest Speaker      
• Guest Speaker- Thomas Jones, Retired Sheriff
• Placement of Wreath
