Employment Opportunities

 Custodian (part time)   

The Campbell County Public Works Department is seeking two motivated, detail-oriented and skilled part time Custodians. This position is responsible for the cleanliness of County office buildings.  Applicants must be able to organize and prioritize tasks in order to complete daily and weekly duties. The ideal candidate should have the ability to operate cleaning equipment, and be knowledgeable of commercial cleaning practices. This position requires the ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.  This position requires a High School diploma or GED and two years of related experience. This is a second shift position.

Starting pay rate is $8.52-$9.73 depending upon qualifications and experience.

 Communications Officer-Trainee   

The Department of Public Safety is looking for organized, forward thinking, and motivated candidates to fill a Communications Officer position. The ideal candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills to dispatch law enforcement, fire, rescue and general governmental mobile units and other personnel in response to emergency and non-emergency situations via telephone, radio and computer systems must be willing to work flexible shifts, nights, weekends and holidays. Must have graduated from high school or completion of GED equivalent, and possess one (1) year of experience.  Additional education and/or experience may be substituted where applicable.

Starting salary range: $26,175-$29,167 based on qualifications and experience
