EMS Special Operations

The EMS Division provides tactical medical support to the Campbell County Sheriff's Office, Special Response Team. The tactically trained medical personnel provide medical support to team members, victims, and suspects in hostile environments. The team members train monthly with the Sheriff's department, and attend formal tactical medic training programs. The team members also provide life saving technique(s) training to the deputies on this elite unit.

The EMS Division recently added two Mass Casualty Response trailers to inventory and placed them in two separate strategic locations in the county. The trailers are each equipped to treat twenty five back boarded patients, and are small enough to be towed by sedans.
