Surplus Property

Campbell County holds a public auction to sell its used vehicles. This auction is normally held on the first Friday in October at the Campbell County Bus Shop, Village Highway, Rustburg, Virginia.

Auctions are advertised in the Lynchburg News & Advance, the Altavista Journal, and the Brookneal Union Star at least one week prior to the auction date.

Some surplus property may also be sold using competitive sealed bidding. If any surplus is to be offered for sale by this method, an Invitation for Bids will be advertised in the local newspapers.
