Youth, Adult, and Community Services
The Youth, Adult and Community Services Department was newly created in 2003. This department oversees an array of services throughout the county related to youth needs, services to seniors, and volunteer programming.
The following areas of service are coordinated through this department:
Comprehensive Services Act (CSA)
The Comprehensive Services Act is a Virginia law designed to help troubled youth and their families. Through a collaborative system of services and funding that is child centered, family focused and community based, local teams review the strengths and needs of troubled and at risk youth and their families.

The Campbell County program has been in existence for more than 30 years. RSVP is open to people age 55 and older. Currently there are approximately 300 local volunteers serving more than 50 local agencies.
