The Department of Management Services is committed to providing reliable information and quality service to our customers, who include citizens, elected officials, County administration, other County departments, vendors and employees. 

Functions

The functions of the department include:

  • Accounts payable
  • Budget
  • Financial reporting
  • General accounting
  • Payroll and Benefits
  • Purchasing

Payroll and Benefits 

The County has approximately 450 employees.  This division is responsible for all payroll reporting and benefits coordination.

Accounts Payable

The Department of Management Services is responsible for paying all County invoices and for 1099 reporting. 

General Accounting

The Department of Management Services is responsible for ensuring accuracy and dependability in all financial transactions and reports. Financial reporting covers local, state, and federal agencies.  We are audited by Robinson, Farmer, Cox Associates.
