Campbell County Sheriff's Office Seeking Assistance in Locating Stolen Property: Citizens Cautioned to Remain Vigilant and Secure Possessions
RUSTBURG, VA - Over the past few months, the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office has received an increased number of thefts involving utility and box-style trailers. In addition to our area, neighboring localities such as Lynchburg have seen an increase in these type of larcenies as well.
The following trailers were stolen from the Campbell County area over the last several months; some of the photographs attached are of the actual property, and some are for reference.
- A Bri-Mar Rascal Dump Trailer (6X10), stolen in the 200 block Suburban Road (see photo below)
2018 Carry-On utility trailer/ 2012 Polaris 850 Sportsman ATV (see attached are of the actual stolen items) were stolen from a residence on Long Island Road.
2008 Qual 16 Ft Trailer was stolen from outside of a residence on Tallyho Drive (attached picture is similar to the one stolen).
- A 1989 Wells Cargo Enclosed trailer 6X10 stolen from the Concord Volunteer Fire Department. Attached picture is similar to the one that was stolen but, the wheels were black, not white and the sides are unmarked. (See photo of suspect's vehicle taken at scene)
- 2001 gray Lufkin 50 foot flatbed trailer stolen from a location off Campbell Highway near Lynchburg.
