Campbell County Sheriff's Office Requesting Public Assistance in Recent Theft of Heavy Equipment


RUSTBURG, VA - Over the past several months, the Campbell County Sheriff's Office has investigated a series of larcenies surrounding equipment such as box trailers, utility trailers and the like.  As a result, we are advising citizens to take precautions in safeguarding personal belongings, and to stay aware of suspicious activity in and around your property.

This past week, a 2004 John Deere Bulldozer, model number 650H, was stolen from a location off of Wards Road in the Campbell County vicinity.  We are requesting public assistance in locating the person or persons responsible for this theft.

Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious, has information regarding the theft of this or any personal property, or knows the identities of those involved, is asked to contact Senior Investigator Stuart Herndon, Campbell County Sheriff’s Office at (434) 332-9574 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-798-5900.
