Central Virginia Planning District Seeks Citizen Input on Route 24 Corridor Study: Digital Survey Available Online
RUSTBURG, VA - The Central Virginia Planning District Commission (CVPDC) in partnership with Campbell County and the Virginia Department of Transportation, is seeking citizen input to identify potential improvements to the Route 24 corridor between Brookneal Highway (Route 501/Route 24 split) on the west, and Red House Road on the east.
CVPDC has published an online survey for those interested to share their opinions and feedback. Previously, a virtual meeting was held this fall, which allowed residents an opportunity to learn about the corridor study project and provide input and insights into concerns and issues related to travel congestion, safety concerns and walking or bicycling in the area. The digital survey is yet another measure to allow for citizen feedback during this process.
To submit a response, please visit: http://route24corridorsurvey.metroquest.com/.
The complete study, combined with the survey results, will culminate with improvement recommendations based on engineering principles and public input.
For more information about this public information meeting or the study, please contact Ada Hunsberger at the Central Virginia Planning District Commission prior to the meeting at ada.hunsberger@cvpdc.org.
