CAMPBELL COUNTY INDICTS CODI DUNBAR FOR 2019 HOMICIDE

RUSTBURG, VA - RUSTBURG, VA - On Monday, January 11, 2021, the Campbell County Commonwealth Attorney's Office presented charges to the Grand Jury to indict Codi Shawn Dunbar, age 28, of Lynch Station, VA on charges stemming from a November 2019 homicide.

On Sunday, November 24, 2019, Campbell County Sheriff's Office received a complaint which led to a homicide investigation involving the homicide of Christopher James Tench of Lynchburg, VA.

After a lengthy criminal investigation, local officials found cause to charge and indict Dunbar on charges of murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
