CAMPBELL COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE ANNOUNCE INSTALLATION OF DRUG DISPOSAL RECEPTACLE

RUSTBURG, VA - Campbell County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce the installation of a drug disposal receptacle for expired/unused medications for community use.

Located in the front lobby of the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office (87 Courthouse Lane, Rustburg), this receptacle offers community members a safe acceptable way to dispose of unused or expired medications.

Citizens may dispose of unwanted medications from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday; however, please note the disposal receptacle does not permit the following:

Inhalers;
Aerosol cans;
Needles or syringes;
Thermometers;
Lotions, liquids or hydrogen peroxide.
