Campbell County Parks & Rec Announces Upcoming Programs & Events

RUSTBURG, VA - Campbell County Parks & Rec is happy to announce upcoming programs and events. To learn more about the events and how to register, please visit the Parks and Rec website and follow us on social media.

The programs and event are:

Karate

Registrations: Now through March 20

Ages: 6 and up

Dates: Tuesday and Thursdays; 6:30 PM

Location: Timbrook Library Basement 

                  (18891 Leesville Rd)

Fees: $65

Campbell County Parks & Rec is sponsoring the School of Karate. Students taking the classes can take a single session or they can continue on until they reach higher belt ranks.

Cornhole

Ages: 18+

Dates: Saturdays and Sundays; 1 - 6 PM

Location: William Campbell Middle School Gym 

                  (474 William Campbell Drive)

Cost: Free Games, Cash for Tournaments

Come join us on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 PM – 6 PM for weekly cornhole games and tournaments! No registration necessary, just drop on in!

Youth Baton

Registrations: Now through June

Ages: 4 and up.

Dates: Mondays from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Location: Tomahawk Elementary School (55 Bee Drive)

Want to learn to twirl the baton? Then come out to Tomahawk Elementary School on Monday evenings!

Yellow Branch Challengers T-Ball

Registrations: April 10 - June 19, 2025

Ages: All ages

Dates: Thursdays from 6 – 8 PM

Location: Yellow Branch Elementary School Gym 

                   (377 Dennis Riddle Drive)

Fees: $15.00

This is a volunteer-led program for individuals ages 6 and up who have intellectual and/or physical challenges. Everyone is welcome to come play tee ball!

League Scholarship Donation 

If you are looking to assist a child in need to be able to play in Rec sports, then this is the area to do that. The link below will take you to the League Scholarships, where your generous contribution provides under-privileged children the opportunity to play sports. The donation options come in quarter, half, and full amounts for the league registration fees. We thank you in advance for looking to help others in need.

Spring Break Recreation Camp 2025 

Registrations: Now through April 13

Ages: 8-13

Dates: April 14th, 16th and 18th

Location: Timbrook Library Basement

Cost: $60.00 per camper

Join us for an action-packed Spring Break Sport/Activities Camp! Our camp is designed to keep kids active and engaged during the break. Some of the activities we will be doing are soccer, dodgeball, board games, arts and crafts, video games, tie-dye, and much more. 

We will also be exploring Timbrook Park, as well as the Library.  We have trips planned for "Get Air Trampoline Park" & Amazement Square! Our program focuses on skill-building, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a fun and supportive environment. We hope that you will decide to join us for our Spring Break Camp!
