CCSO CARE ALERT: Beware of Unlicensed Door-To-Door Salesmen in Community; Always Ask for License; Identification

RUSTBURG, VA - Campbell County Sheriff's Office has received multiple reports over the past few days of a white male subject driving a blue car (with no front license plate) approaching residents in the Brookneal and Naruna areas offering satellite repair services. This individual claims to provide cheaper rates; however, he has been unable to present any valid credentials or proof of affiliation with a legitimate business.

We urge all citizens to exercise caution if approached by this person—or anyone else—who comes to your door attempting to sell services or products. 

Please remember: All companies conducting door-to-door sales in Campbell County must possess a valid Campbell County business license to prove they are working for a legitimate business.  For your reference, please see the attached example of an official Campbell County business license.
