Campbell County Public Library System Announces November Programs & Events
The Campbell County Public Library’s events and programs are free and open to the public. All upcoming programs for children, teens, and adults can be found at https://campbellcountylibraries.org. Some are highlighted below:
Holiday Market
Friday, Nov. 7, 4 – 7 p.m.
Historic Courthouse, 774 Village Highway, Rustburg
Enjoy a cozy evening outdoors filled with white lights, craft vendors, a bonfire, music, food, and holiday spirit. This event is looking for local vendors that sell unique, handmade or homemade items that would make great decorations and/or gifts for the holidays. Book Swap
Tuesday, Nov. 11, 3 – 5 p.m.
Patrick Henry Memorial Library in Brookneal
Bring 5 gently used books you would like to pass on, and take 5 books home to love. Enjoy conversation and light refreshments while you swap. For adults.
Santa at Staunton River Memorial Library
Friday, Nov. 21, 5:45 – 8 p.m.
Staunton River Memorial Library in Altavista
At this free event, take pictures with Santa, walk through the Candy Cane Forest, create a keepsake craft, drink hot cocoa, more. There will be a free book for each child, courtesy of the Friends of the Staunton River Memorial Library. The Altavista town tree lighting will take place outside the library at the beginning of the event; library doors will open at 6 p.m.
Crafternoon Cheer
Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2 – 4 p.m.
Timbrook Library
Create a gift for someone far or near with an afternoon of festive crafting, snacks, and cheer. A free program for adults.
