Campbell County Sheriff's Office Seeking Information on Unknown Motorcyclist for Eluding Virginia State Police

RUSTBURG, VA — Campbell County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) in conjunction with the Virginia State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who eluded State Troopers during a pursuit earlier today on Route 29 in Campbell County.

According to officials, the pursuit began after a Trooper attempted to stop a motorcycle for a traffic violation. The motorcyclist refused to stop and fled on Route 29. For safety reasons, the pursuit was later terminated.

Investigators have obtained surveillance images of the individual from a convenience store he visited just before the incident. The unknown subject was observed operating a black and red sport bike and wearing black hoodie and pants.
