Campbell County Sheriff's Office Announces Two Arrests Following SOVA ICAC Investigations

RUSTBURG, VA — The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (SOVA ICAC), has arrested two Campbell County residents following separate investigations into internet crimes against children.

Arrests and Charges

On November 17, 2025, investigators arrested Dustin Sloan, 29, of Lynchburg, Virginia (Campbell County). Following an in-depth investigation, Sloan has been charged with:

One (1) count of §18.2-374.1:1 (A) – Possession of Child Pornography
One (1) count of §18.2-374.1:1 (C) – Distribution of Child Pornography

Also on November 17, 2025, the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, working jointly with SOVA ICAC, arrested Gregory Ogden Jr., 19, of Concord, Virginia (Campbell County). Ogden has been charged with:

Ten (10) counts of §18.2-374.1:1 (A) – Possession of Child Pornography
One (1) count of §18.2-374.1 (A)(ii) – Production of Child Pornography
Two (2) counts of §18.2-361.01 (B)(v) – Sexual Abuse of Animals
