Chickens

Chickens are permitted in any zoning district, subject to the following (in Agricultural districts, these do not apply):

• You may have a maximum of 10 chicken hens, but no roosters.
• Chickens must be kept in the rear yard, inside a fenced enclosure that is at least 10 feet from any property line.
• The enclosure must include a coop.
• Dead chickens and chicken waste must be kept off adjoining properties and out of drainage systems.
