PUBLIC NOTICE

April 21, 2026, Special Election

The General Assembly has called a special election to be held on April 21, 2026, on a proposed constitutional amendment. On Election Day, April 21, all regular Campbell County polling places will be open from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. If you are in line at 7 p.m., you are still able to vote. Do not get out of line if you are in line at 7 p.m.

Friday, March 6, 2026  - 8:30am - 5:00 pm   - Early Voting starts*

Early Voting is available Monday – Friday, 8:30 to 5:00 p.m. and April 11 and 18th 

Friday, April 14, 2026  - 5:00 pm   Voter Registration Deadline **

Friday, April 10, 2026 - 5:00 pm   FINAL DAY for Registrar’s Office to receive an Absentee Ballot application to MAIL a ballot

 Saturday, April 11 - 9:00 am-5:00 pm - Office Open for In-Person Absentee Voting

 Saturday, April 18 - 9:00 am-5:00pm  - FINAL DAY Office Open for In-Person Absentee Voting

 *Absentee Ballot Applications can be completed and returned by mail, fax, email or in-person.

 ** Voters may register after this date, through Election Day, and vote using a provisional ballot. Completed Voter Registrations applications returned to Registrar’s Office by mail,

In-person, DMV, Social Services or online: https://vote.elections.virginia.gov/Registration/Eligibility.

 You are encouraged to make application for voter registration. Please call us to request a registration application, an application for absentee voting, or to verify that you are registered.

Remember, a good citizen registers and VOTES.
