[ARCHIVED] VDoT Launches English Tavern Corridor Survey; Citizen Input Requested

VDOT Online Survey - English Tavern Corridor

LYNCHBURG, VA - The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDoT) is seeking citizen input to improve transportation along the English Tavern Corridor along US 29.

An online survey is available at: https://publicinput.com/englishtavern.  

For those who desire to contribute feedback in addition to the online survey, suggestions may be submitted online at the VDOT Engagement Hub - Virginia DOT , or by contacting your Lynchburg District Representative at: lynchburginfo@vdot.virginia.gov, or (434) 947-6559.

The Lynchburg District is comprised of 10 counties and the cities of Lynchburg and Danville, which cover 5,385 square miles in the southcentral portion of Virginia and is home to approximately 425,000 people. The district is located along the eastern slope of the Blue Ridge Mountains. 

  • Counties: Amherst, Appomattox, Buckingham, Campbell, Charlotte, Cumberland, Halifax, Nelson, Pittsylvania and Prince Edward
  • Cities: Danville and Lynchburg
  • Towns: Altavista, Amherst, Appomattox, Brookneal, Charlotte Court House, Chatham, Dillwyn, Drakes Branch, Farmville, Gretna, Halifax, Hurt, Keysville, Pamplin, Phenix, Scottsburg, South Boston and Virgilina
