Holiday Market
Historic Courthouse, 774 Village Highway, Rustburg
Friday, Nov. 8, 4 – 7 p.m.
Enjoy craft vendors selling unique decorations and gifts, food, music, and a bonfire all centered around the beautiful Historic Courthouse in Rustburg. Admission is free. A partnership with the Campbell County Historical Society and the Campbell County Public Library Foundation.
Nutrition Under Pressure
Timbrook Library, 18891 Leesville Road, Lynchburg
Monday, Nov. 11, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
We will learn the different functions of the Instant Pot Programmable Pressure Cooker through hands-on techniques and explore how to prepare healthy meals fast. This is a free program for adults.
Santa at the Library
Staunton River Memorial Library, 500 Washington St., Altavista
Friday, Nov. 22, 6 – 8 p.m.
Bring your family for an evening of magical holiday memories. Take pictures with Santa, drop off letters for him, and enjoy crafts, stories, and a free book for each child. The Town of Altavista tree lighting will take place at the beginning of the event. This is a free event.
Book Wreath Workshop
Rustburg Library, 684 Village Highway, Rustburg
Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2 – 4 p.m.
Create your own book wreath using withdrawn library materials and decorative details. This free workshop is for adults. Space is limited. Register by contacting Sarah Johnson at smjohnson@co.campbell.va.us.
