RUSTBURG, VA - Campbell County is proud to announce its participation in the Clean Commute Challenge, hosted by the Central Virginia Planning District Commission (CVPDC) and Central Virginia Commuter Services (CVCS). This exciting initiative encourages local commuters to explore cleaner, greener transportation options—including transit, walking, biking, and car/vanpooling.
The challenge will run September 29 through October 10, offering residents and employees the opportunity to make a positive impact on the environment and their community by trying out sustainable travel alternatives.
How to Participate
- Register for the ConnectingVA app and select Campbell County when entering your information.
- Take at least one clean commute trip during the challenge dates.
- Log your trip in the ConnectingVA app.
Rewards for Participation
Each clean commute trip you log will:
- Enter you into a drawing to win a $50 Visa Gift Card.
- Earn you points and rewards redeemable at local establishments.
