Campbell county Department of Public works is in the process of transitioning operations of our recycling program. In effort to cut costs and provide a better level of service, we have purchased our own containers and are waiting for them to be delivered to the Altavista and Concord transfer stations.
We anticipate delivery of our containers by the end of November, however the recycling program at those sites is temporarily out of service until they are installed.
Recyclable materials are still being accepted at our Livestock Road facility (361 Livestock Rd, Rustburg, VA 24588).
