Expanded Recycling Efforts in Campbell County 

The Department of Public Works is excited to announce that Campbell County has expanded its recycling efforts into the Evington, Altavista and Rustburg (Three Forks) Communities. 

There are now dedicated recycling containers for paper, plastic and carboard at each of these convenience centers. These containers are considered "commingled" meaning, these materials do not need to be separated. 

The Public Works Team does request that residents break down any carboard, or flatten it out in order to conserve space inside of the container. 

In addition, all of these sites continue to offer metal collection and recycling, including the collection of aluminum cans.
