Supporting Safer Streets for All Users – The Central Virginia Safety Action Plan.

The Central Virginia Planning District Commission (CVPDC), in partnership with local stakeholders, over the next 8 to 10 months will develop a plan to reduce roadway fatalities and serious injuries for all roadway users in the region.  The Central Virginia Safety Action Plan will use data and local input to outline strategies—engineering, education, enforcement, and emergency response—to advance safer streets for all users and transportation modes in the region.

Help Make Our Roadways Safer – Take the Central Virginia Safety Action Plan Survey!

Please participate in the Central Virginia Safety Action Plan Survey to share your safety concerns and challenges.  Use the interactive map to show locations – roadways and/or intersections – where you have safety concerns.   If you drive, walk, cycle, use a mobility device, rode public transit or deliver goods in our area – this survey is for you!   All participants are eligible for prizes.
